Fall Fun with a Family of Ten
When you photograph a family of ten AND A DOG, you brace yourself for a little chaos—but this crew made it feel effortless. With the two oldest away at college, the remaining eight kids showed up ready to make the most of a gorgeous early fall day.
The girls lit up whenever their dad was near, and the boys seemed to have a special bond with their mom; and everyone seemed to have a running list of inside jokes. Add in cozy, casual outfits that perfectly complemented the autumn colors, and we had a recipe for relaxed, happy portraits.
Yes, there were a lot of people to arrange, but they were so easygoing and fun that it never felt like work. Instead, it was an afternoon of laughing, teasing, and catching moments that show exactly how close this family really is—no matter how many miles (or college campuses) are between them.
